Best places to visit when cruising in Croatia

Croatia has immeasurable beauty and very long coastline that hides away so many beautiful hidden gems, islands, bays, and coves that can be best explored only via boat.

The story of Split dates back 17 centuries, in the Roman times when it all started. This is also the second largest town in Croatia and also an ideal place to truly experience the Dalmatian lifestyle. Walking through old town you will see that it has the right balance of tradition and modernity. 2. Dubrovnik

4. Skradin & Krka

To get to Krka you must first come to Skradin! Skradin is a small charming tourist destination that holds one of the most beautiful marinas in Croatia. The town has many nice restaurants with delicious Mediterranean food that will please even the toughest critics. From gorgeous Skradin you can buy a ticket for National Park Krka where you will have organized boat transfer. National park Krka is famous for its waterfalls where you can even swim! Yes! 5. Bra?

Bra? is the largest island of Croatia and in very close distance to the Split the second largest town in Croatia. This island is most known for its white stone production and the beautiful beach called Zlatni rat (Golden Bay) located in town called Bol. This beach is one of the most beautiful beaches you will find in Dalmatian region and it has been used as postcard photo for many touristic brochures. Furthermore, besides its beauty, it is safe for families with kids too, and nearby the beach many snack bars and cafes are located which is very convenient if you plan to stay on the beach for more than a few hours and you get hungry.

6. Trogir
Trogir is a smaller town that is very well preserved and his architectures show remains that are a mix of Renaissance, Baroque and Romanesque building. The focal point of the town is bell tower around which you’ll find many cafes and restaurants popular among tourist a locals too. Parts of this town remained truly intact and are protected by UNESCO. Many tourists who visited Dubrovnik often know to say that Trogir is as beautiful as Dubrovnik but it has no large crowds of tourist. Here you can enjoy in a leisurely stroll through old town and promenade – Riva, lined with bars, cafes… Plus this town is very close to the Airport which is extra convenient and makes this place a great option for ending your Croatian cruise.
